Toyota Kirloskar Motor has hiked the prices for the Innova Crysta MPV. This price hike affects the GX+ variant only. Initially priced at Rs 21.39 lakh, the Toyota Innova Crysta GX+ now costs Rs 21.49 lakh. The mid-spec GX+ variant of the Innova Crysta was launched in May to keep up with the rising demand for the MPV. It is available in 7 and 8-seat layouts.

While other Toyota offerings like Glanza, Urban Cruiser HyRyder, Taisor, and Rumion have received limited festive editions, prices for its bestselling MPV, Innova Crysta, have gone up. The 7-seat version of the Toyota Innova Crysta GX+ now costs Rs 21.49 lakh while the 8-seat version fetches Rs 21.54 lakh. Both versions are now dearer by Rs 10,000.
The mid-spec GX+ variant of the Toyota Innova Crysta is equipped with 14 more features than the variant (GX) below it. These features include a rear camera, auto-fold mirrors, and DVR, as well as aesthetic enhancements like diamond-cut alloys, wooden panels, and premium fabric seats. The 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system on the MPV supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. In terms of safety, the X+ variant gets features like SRS Airbags, ABS, Vehicle Stability Control, and Hill-Start Assist Control.
Powering the Toyota Innova Crysta is a 2.4-litre diesel engine that can produce a maximum power output of 150hp and 343Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. There are 2 drive modes onboard – Power and Eco.
Meanwhile, the strong-hybrid ‘HyCross’ version of the Innova is powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine that produces a maximum power output of 152hp and 187Nm torque by itself. This engine is paired with fifth-gen strong hybrid tech (M20A FXS) and can produce a combined power of 186hp. The HyCross offers a mileage of 21.2 kmpl
In other news, the festive editions of Glanza, Urban Cruiser HyRyder, Raisor, and Rumion have received a complimentary Toyota Genuine Accessory (TGA) package. The contents of this package are different for every model. Toyota is offering this package free of cost until October 31 as a part of its festive campaign.

Prices for the Toyota Innova Crysta start at Rs 19.99 lakh and go up to Rs 26.55 lakh. Other variants apart from GX+ have not received a price hike. Meanwhile, the hybrid version of the MPV, Innova HyCross, is priced between Rs 19.77 lakh and Rs 30.98 lakh. The Toyota Innova Crysta rivals the Tata Safari, Kia Carnival, and Mahindra XUV700 in India.
