Tata Motors has equipped the Nexon with a Level 2 ADAS package. This feature is only available on the top-spec Fearless +PS Petrol-automatic variant of the SUV. It is priced at Rs 13.53 lakh, which is an increase of Rs 27,000 over its previous version. With this update, Tata Nexon becomes one of the most affordable SUVs in India to offer a Level 2 ADAS package.

Tata Nexon: Now available with ADAS
The new Level 2 ADAS package adds the following features to the Nexon:
- Front Collision Warning
- Autonomous Emergency Braking
- High Beam Assist
- Lane Centering System
- Lane Departure Warning
- Lane Keep Assist
- Traffic Signal Recognition
- High Beam Assist
The ADAS package has also been made available on the ‘Red Dark’ edition of the Nexon. It is priced at Rs 13.81 lakh. No cosmetic changes have been made to the SUV.
Other features of the Nexon SUV include a 12.3-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, connected car tech, wireless charging, ventilated front seats, touch controls for the HVAC, and more.
The Nexon SUV has one of the most versatile powertrains in its segment. It comes in petrol and diesel engine options. The 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine generates a maximum power output of 120hp and 170Nm of torque. This engine can be mated to a manual, AMT, or DCT gearbox. Meanwhile, the 1.5-litre diesel engine produces a maximum power output of 115hp and 260Nm of torque. It can be mated to a 6-speed manual or AMT gearbox.
The SUV is also available in a CNG guise. The 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine on the CNG model produces a maximum power output of 100hp and 170Nm of torque. It can only be paired with a manual transmission. The Nexon CNG has a boot space capacity of 321 litres, a fuel tank capacity of 60 litres, and a mileage of 24 km/kg.

Final Thoughts
Prices for the Tata Nexon range start at Rs 7.32 lakh and go up to Rs 14.15 lakh. Its all-electric model is priced between Rs 12.49 lakh and Rs 17.49 lakh. The compact SUV rivals the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, Mahindra XUV300, and Maruti Suzuki Brezza.
