Tata Nexon has crossed the monumental sales landmark of 7 lakh units 7 years after its launch. The Nexon was introduced in India in 2017 and has been the largest-selling SUV in India from 2021 to 2023. It is available in an all-electric avatar as well. To celebrate the landmark, Tata Motors is offering discounts of up to Rs 1 lakh on the Nexon SUV.

The 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine on the Tata Nexon produces a maximum power output of 120hp and 170Nm. Meanwhile, the 1.5-litre diesel engine churns out 115hp and 260Nm. Both engines can be mated to a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed AMT gearbox. The petrol engine also gets 7-speed DCT and 5-speed manual transmission options.

Conclusion
Prices for Tata Nexon start at Rs 8 lakh and go up to Rs 13.20 lakh. Meanwhile, the Nexon EV is priced between Rs 14.49 and Rs 19.49 lakh. The ICE Nexon rivals the likes of Mahindra XUV 3XO, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Kia Sonet, Nissan Magnite, Hyundai Venue and Renault Kiger.
