Renault Triber facelift: What to expect?

The spy shot of the new Renault Triber reveals its profile and rear view. While it does not reveal much about the MPV’s design, it looks dimensionally identical to the outgoing model. Renault may tweak the design of the headlamps, tail lamps, and the front and rear bumpers. The spy shot confirms that the upward crease and window line kink will remain unchanged on the updated model.

The interior of the Renault Triber facelift remains a mystery but we expect it to get minor design changes. Nissan may incorporate soft-touch materials on the dashboard and lighter shades on the upholstery. While nothing is known about the features and instrumentation, the facelifted model could feature an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and a 7-inch digital instrument cluster. Features like automatic climate control, global smart key, remote engine start, and rear AC vents are also expected to make the cut.

Current-gen Triber

The 2025 Renault Triber will not get any mechanical upgrades. It will continue to be powered by the 1.0-litre naturally aspirated three-cylinder petrol engine from the current model. This engine produces a maximum power output of 72hp and 96Nm of torque. It can be linked to a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox.

Final Thoughts

The current Renault Triber range is priced between Rs 6.10 lakh and Rs 8.98 lakh. Meanwhile, prices for the Kiger start at Rs 6.10 lakh and go up to Rs 11.23 lakh. Expect the facelifted models of both offerings to demand a small premium over their outgoing versions. The new Renault Triber will continue to rival the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Toyota Rumion, and Kia Carens.
