Toyota Kirloskar Motor has hiked the prices for the Innova HyCross in India. The two top-spec trims of the Toyota Innova HyCross see the highest price hike. Last month, the MPV crossed the 1 lakh sales landmark in India. The Innova HyCross has been in great demand since its launch in December 2022. Back in April, the automaker added a GX(O) variant to tackle the high demand. This is the second time that Toyota has hiked the prices for its bestselling MPV.

The Toyota Innova HyCross is available in 6 trim levels – GX, GX(O), VX, VX(O), ZX, and ZX(O). The two top-spec trims, ZX and ZX(O), receive the highest price hike of Rs 36,000. The mid-spec VX and VX(O) trims are dearer by Rs 35,000. Meanwhile, prices for the entry-level GX and GX(O) trims have risen by Rs 17,000. The waiting period for the Toyota Innova HyCross has also come down drastically. The petrol and petrol hybrid variants have a waiting period of 45 days. Meanwhile, the top-spec ZX and ZX(O) trims demand 6 months of waiting time.
The Toyota Innova HyCross is powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine. This engine produces a maximum power output of 174hp and 205Nm of torque. In a strong hybrid configuration, it puts out 184hp. This engine is mated to a CVT gearbox. The MPV offers a fuel economy of 16.13kmpl. Only the top-spec variants of the MPV are available with a strong-hybrid configuration.
Talking about the instrumentation, the Toyota Innova HyCross is decked with a 10.1-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system which comes with smartphone mirroring and connected car tech. The MPV is available in 7 and 8-seat layouts. There are multiple colour options for the interior. Buyers can choose between an all-black theme or a dual-tone colour scheme.
One of the big highlights of the Toyota Innova HyCross is its ADAS package. This package includes features like Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Lane Departure Alert (LDA), Automatic High Beam (AHB), and Road Sign Assist (RSB). Other features of the MPV include wireless charging, a 360-degree camera, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, climate control, cruise control, individual digital screens for rear passengers, and much more.

After the price hike, the Toyota Innova HyCross range starts at Rs 19.94 lakh and goes up to Rs 31.34 lakh. Toyota has revealed that it averages around 4,000 monthly sales for the MPV. The MPV rivals Tata Safari, Kia Carnival, and Mahindra XUV700 in India.
