Porsche is offering special ‘Black Edition’ models for the Taycan and Cayenne. Prices for the Porsche Taycan Black Edition start at Rs 2.07 crore, while its Cayenne counterpart fetches Rs 1.80 crore. The Cayenne Coupe also gets a Black Edition model, priced at Rs 1.87 crore. The special edition models get black cosmetic highlights but remain unchanged mechanically.

The Black Edition models of the Porsche Taycan and Cayenne get a high-gloss black finish on OVRMs, front apron, side skirts, side window trims, and rear diffuser. The illuminated Porsche logo is also finished in black. The LED headlamps are smoked out. A puddle lamp is offered as a standard fitment on both offerings. The 21-inch Aero alloy wheels on the Taycan get a dark finish. The Cayenne rests on 21-inch RS Spyder alloys.
Interestingly, all Black Edition models are available in multiple colour options. The special edition Cayenne comes in Jet Black Metallic, Volcano Grey Metallic, Dolomite Silver Metallic, Ice Grey Metallic and more paint shades. Meanwhile, the Cayenne gets White, Chromite Black Metallic, and more colour options. Buyers can customise these paint shades at an additional charge.
Inside, the Porsche Taycan and Cayenne maintain their layout and instrumentation, but get black upholstery options. The two luxury cars are packed with features like 14-way adjustable powered front seats, panoramic sunroof, a 14-speaker Bose sound system with a 710W audio output, a 4-zone climate control system, an ADAS suite, and more.
No changes have been made under the hood of either Black Edition offering. The Porsche Taycan is powered by a dual-electric engine that puts out a combined power output of 598hp and 710Nm of torque. It can go from 0-100km/h in just 3.7 seconds. The 105kWh battery pack offers a driving range of 668km. It can be fully charged in 18 minutes using a 320kW DC fast charger.
The Porsche Cayenne is powered by a 3-litre V6 turbo-petrol engine. This engine generates a maximum power output of 353hp and 500Nm of torque. It is mated to an 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.

The facelifted Porsche Taycan was launched in India last year. An RWD variant was added to its lineup in March 2025. Its prices start at Rs 1.67 crore and go up to Rs 2.54 crore. It rivals the Jaguar I-Pace, BMW i5, and Audi e-tron GT.. Meanwhile, the Cayenne range starts at Rs 1.49 crore and goes up to Rs 2.08 crore. It rivals the Maserati Grecale.
