MY2025 Tata Tiago and Tigor updated with new design and features

Tata Motors has updated two of its bestselling cars in India – Tata Tiago and Tigor. The 2 lineups receive design tweaks, updated tech, and new colour options. The automaker has also updated the pricing for the 2 models. These changes are applicable across all powertrains of Tiago but only on the petrol and CNG Tigor variants. No changes have been made under the hood of the 2 cars.

Tata Tiago and Tigor: New changes explained

Tata Tiago’s grille and air vents have been restyled to bring the hatchback on par with other offerings from the automaker. Additionally, the higher-spec variants of the Tiago have received a shark fin antenna. There are 4 new colour options on offer – Supernova Copper, Ocean Blue, Arizona Blue, and Pristine White. The Tigor also gets small tweaks to the bumper and grille. The hyperstyle wheels have also received a design update. The sedan is available in 2 new colours – Supernova Copper and Pristine White.

Inside, Tata Tiago and Tigor have been updated with the new illuminated steering. The top-spec variants of both cars flaunt a 10.25-inch free-standing infotainment system and a 4-inch digital instrument cluster. The touchscreen infotainment system supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Tata has also added a new dual-tone interior colour theme for both cars. Other features include an HD reverse camera, Type-A and Type-C charging ports, TPMS, cruise control, and more.

Tata Tiago and Tigor share the same powertrain. The petrol variants of 2 cars are powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine that puts out 86hp. Buyers get the option of a 5-speed manual or automatic gearbox on the hatchback. The CNG models put out 73hp and 95Nm and offer a mileage of 26.49 km/kg. Meanwhile, the Permanent Synchronous Motor on the Tiago and Tigor EVs produces a peak power output of 75hp and 114Nm of torque. There are two battery options on offer. Tata claims a driving range of 315 km for the 24kWh battery pack and 250km for the 19.2kWh battery.

Conclusion

Prices for the MY2025 Tata Tiago start at Rs 4.99 lakh and go up to Rs 7.30 lakh for the top-spec XZ+ variant. Its CNG and EV variants are priced at Rs 7.99 lakh and Rs 6.70 lakh respectively. Meanwhile, the MY2025 Tigor is priced between Rs 5.99 lakh – Rs 8.50 lakh. The Tigor CNG fetches Rs 7.70 lakh.
