Maruti Suzuki Invicto has been awarded a 5-star safety rating by Bharat NCAP. It is the third Maruti car, following the Dzire and Victoris, to receive the highest possible safety rating from BNCAP. This safety rating applies to all three variants of the MPV. Its Toyota sibling, Innova HyCross, received a similar safety rating back in June.

Maruti Suzuki Invicto: Crash test results explained
The Invicto MPV scored 30.43 points out of a possible 32 in the Adult Occupant Protection test. In a simulator frontal crash against a deformable barrier, the MPV showed good protection to the driver’s head, neck, pelvis, thighs, right leg, and feet. The protection offered to the chest and left leg was adequate. Meanwhile, the passenger’s head, neck, pelvis, thighs, legs, and feet showed good protection, and the chest showed adequate protection. In the Side Movable Deformable Barrier and Side Pole Impact tests, all body parts showed good protection.
In the Child Occupant Protection test, the Invicto MPV scored 45 points out of a possible 49. It garnered the maximum possible Dynamic and CRS Installation scores – 24 and 12, respectively. However, its Vehicle Assessment Score was limited to 9 points out of a possible 13. The child seats for 18-month-old and 3-year-old children were installed in a rear-facing position using the ISOFIX mounts and a support leg. The car was then crash tested with the child dummies in their dedicated seats.
The Maruti Suzuki Invicto comes with standard safety features like six airbags, rear disk brakes, Electronic Stability Control, ABS with EBD, Electronic Parking Brake with Auto Hold, three-point seatbelts for all passengers, a 360-degree camera, a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, and more. In terms of creature comforts, it gets a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, a powered driver’s seat, and more features.

Final Thoughts
Prices for the Invicto start at Rs 24.97 lakh and go up to Rs 28.61 lakh. The MPV comes in 3 variants – Zeta+ (7S), Zeta+ (8S), and Alpha+ (7S). It rivals the likes of the Toyota Innova HyCross, MG Hector Plus, Mahindra XUV700, and Tata Safari.
