After pulling the manual mild-hybrid variants of the Brezza SUV in July 2023, Maruti Suzuki has reintroduced it in the country. Prices for the manual variants of the compact SUV with mild hybrid tech start at Rs 11.05 lakh. It is available in two out of the four trims: ZXI, and ZXI+. The top-spec ZXI+ MT variant with mild hybrid tech costs Rs 12.48 lakh, while its automatic counterpart fetches Rs 13.98 lakh.

The reintroduction of the mild-hybrid to the manual variants of the Maruti Suzuki Brezza has bumped their fuel efficiency numbers. With a manual transmission, the SUV now offers a mileage of 19.89 kmpl instead of 17.38 kmpl. In comparison, the automatic variants of the SUV have a similar mileage of 19.8 kmpl. The variants which were pulled from the market last year offered a mileage of 20.5 kmpl.
Under the hood, the 1.5-litre four-cylinder mild-hybrid K-series petrol engine produces a maximum power output of 103hp and 137Nm of torque. It can now be paired with an automatic and a manual transmission. In a CNG configuration, this engine produces a maximum power output of 88hp and 121.5Nm peak torque. It should be noted that Brezza CNG is not available in a mild hybrid tech nor does it get the option of an automatic transmission.
Talking about the features, the Maruti Suzuki Brezza is equipped with a free-standing 9-inch Smartplay Pro+ touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, Arkamys-tuned sound system, wireless charging, HUD, electric sunroof, automatic climate control, cruise control, ambient lighting as well as voice-command operation.

Prices for the Maruti Suzuki Brezza currently start at Rs 8.29 lakh and go up to Rs 14.14 lakh. Last month, the SUV crossed the sales landmark of 10 lakh units. It took the Brezza 7 years to accomplish this feat, with the final 1 lakh units getting sold in the last 8 months. In India, the compact SUV rivals the likes of Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, Mahindra XUV300, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Maruti Suzuki Fronx, and Tata Nexon.
