Mahindra XUV3XO: What do the teasers reveal?

So far Mahindra has dropped two teasers for the XUV3X0. The first teaser offered a glimpse of the exterior design while the newest video offers a look inside the cabin of the SUV. The teaser drops confirm a radical change in design compared to the outgoing XUV300. Mahindra XUV3XO will get vertically aligned headlamps and a new pattern for the front grille. Bordering the headlamps on one side are LED DRLs. At the back, the SUV gets a new design for the tailgate and LED tail lamps along with a light bar.

The interior layout of the Mahindra XUV3XO resembles the XUV400. The compact SUV gets a free-standing 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. This display unit has been confirmed in the new teaser. Underneath this infotainment display lie the physical HVAC controls. There is another 10.25-inch display onboard for the digital instrument cluster. The panoramic sunroof will be a first-in-class feature on the XUV3XO. It will only be offered on the top-spec variants. Other features on the SUV include a 360-degree camera, rear vents for the AC, and ventilated front seating.

Things remain the same under the hood as the Mahindra XUV3XO will carry forward its powertrain options from the XUV300. The 1.2-litre 3-cylinder mStallion direct-injection turbo-petrol engine produces a maximum power output of 131hp and 230Nm torque. Mahindra will introduce a new 6-speed automatic torque converter gearbox for this engine. The 1.2-litre turbo petrol puts out 110hp. The 1.5-litre diesel engine generates a power output of 117hp. These engines get the option of manual and AMT gearboxes.
