Tata Motors is offering discounts of up to Rs 50,000 on the recently launched Punch EV. These discounts are available in the form of cash discounts, dealer offers, and insurance benefits. This is the first that Tata is offering discounts on the Punch EV. The compact electric SUV was launched in India in January 2024 at a starting price of Rs 10.99 lakh.

The Rs 50,000 discount is only available on the top-spec Empowered +S LR variants of the Tata Punch with the 7.2kW AC fast charger. At the time of launch, this top-spec variant was shipped in large numbers to Tata dealerships across the country. To keep the units moving, Tata dealerships are offering a cash discount of Rs 20,000 along with insurance benefits and other dealer offers. The total discount figure comes up to Rs 50,000. The top-spec variant is priced at Rs 15.49 lakh before the discount.
Tata Punch EV is decked with features like a 10.25-inch free-floating touchscreen infotainment system and another 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. The touchscreen infotainment system on the EV supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The electric SUV features the updated two-spoke steering design with an illuminated Tata logo at the centre. This steering wheel is equipped with paddle shifters that enable the 4-level Multi-Mode Regeneration. Other features include automatic headlamps, wireless charging, auto-dimming IVRM, leatherette seating, an electric sunroof, an air purifier with an AQI display, and more.
The top-spec Empowered +S LR variant of Tata Punch is offered with a 35kWh battery pack. On a full charge, this battery pack offers a driving range of 421km. It is rated IP67 for dust and water resistance. Using a 50kW DC charger, the EV can charged from 10-80% in 56 minutes. This variant produces a maximum power output of 122hp and 190Nm of torque. It can go from 0-100kmph in 9.5 seconds with the top speed capped at 140kmph.

The value of this discount offer may vary on the dealership. Tata dealerships in some memberships may not be offering this discount. These offers will expire once the target stock has been moved. In India, Tata Punch EV rivals the Citroen eC3, MG Comet, and Tata Tiago EV.
