Mahindra Auto is in the process of revamping its SUV portfolio in India. The automaker is currently road-testing the updated models of XUV700, Thar, and Bolero. Mahindra Scorpio N, which is one of the most popular SUVs in India, will be one of the first SUVs from the automaker to get a substantial update this year. Mahindra has dropped a teaser for the upcoming update across its socials. The MY2025 Scorpio N is expected to come equipped with a Level 2 ADAS package. Mahindra has not revealed its launch date yet.

MY2025 Mahindra Scorpio N: What to expect?
The cosmetic updates to the MY2025 Mahindra Scorpio N will be minimal, if any at all. The SUV will retain its bold front fascia with the six-slatted grille. This grille will flaunt the ‘Twin Peaks’ Mahindra logo. The LED projector headlamps and C-shaped DRLs will also be carried forward without any tweaks. The tall and boxy silhouette, which gives the SUV a unique flair, will be left untouched as well.
The interior of the Mahindra Scorpio N will carry the more notable updates. The single-pane sunroof is expected to be replaced by a more premium panoramic sunroof. A larger 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay may also be added to the SUV’s centre console. However, the biggest inclusion on the MY2025 Scorpio N will be a Level 2 ADAS package. The ‘Power Always Stays On Course’ messaging in the teaser indicates the presence of an ADAS package. Expect a good set of autonomous features on this Level 2 ADAS package.
No changes are expected under the hood of the MY2025 Mahindra Scorpio N. The SUV will continue to be offered in petrol and diesel engine options. The 2.0-litre mStallion turbo petrol engine generates a maximum power output of 203hp and 370Nm of torque. It can be linked to a 6-speed manual or automatic gearbox. Meanwhile, the 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine produces a maximum power output of 132hp and 300Nm of torque. It can be mated to a 6-speed manual or automatic gearbox.

Final Thoughts
Mahindra has not announced a launch date for the MY2025 Scorpio N, but it is expected to arrive in the first week of July. Prices for the current model start at Rs 13.99 lakh and go up to Rs 25.15 lakh. Earlier this month, Mahindra added a new entry-level automatic variant (Z4 AT) to the SUV’s lineup, priced at Rs 17.86 lakh. Expect the updated model to demand a small premium. The addition of a Level 2 ADAS package will make the SUV more suited to be exported to Australia, where Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) is mandated by law. In India, it will continue to rival the likes of the Tata Safari, MG Hector, Jeep Compass, Hyundai Creta, and Kia Seltos in India.
