The Mahindra Scorpio N is long overdue for a facelift. The SUV was launched in India back in June 2022 and has enjoyed massive popularity since. Nearing its 4-year anniversary, the SUV has been pulled up for a mid-cycle refresh. Test mules of its facelift model were first spotted testing in October 2025. The SUV was seen on Indian roads in January 2026 as well. The new test mules were draped in heavy camouflage, much like the previously spotted units.

Given the massive popularity of the Scorpio N in India, we don’t expect Mahindra to radically change the design language on the new model. The cutouts on the test mules suggest cosmetic tweaks on the front grille, which will likely have horizontal slats. The front bumper will be slightly reworked. The LED headlamps and DRLs are expected to remain unchanged. Along the sides, the alloy wheels will sport a new design. No big changes are expected in the rear section.
Significant changes are expected along the interior, as the Mahindra Scorpio N facelift is rumoured to get a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It wouldn’t surprise us if this is the same unit that does duty on the Thar Roxx. A digital driver’s display will accompany this screen. There will be support for wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The AC vents will be aligned horizontally. They will be positioned just below the infotainment system. The SUV come with plenty of physical controls. Other features like ambient lighting, a dual-pane sunroof, a 360-degree camera, rear AC vents, and a Level 2 ADAS package are expected to make the cut.
No changes are expected under the hood of the upcoming Mahindra Scorpio N. The SUV will continue to be offered in 2 engine options – 2-litre petrol and 2.2-litre diesel. The 2.0-litre mStallion turbo petrol engine generates a maximum power output of 203hp and 370Nm of torque. It can be linked to a 6-speed manual or automatic gearbox. Meanwhile, the 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine produces a maximum power output of 132hp and 300Nm of torque. It can be mated to a 6-speed manual or automatic gearbox.

Prices for the current lineup of the Mahindra Scorpio N start at Rs 13.49 lakh and go up to Rs 24.34 lakh. The facelift model will demand a small premium over these prices. We expect it to launch in April 2026. The variant list is expected to remain unchanged. Upon launch, the SUV will rival the Tata Safari, MG Hector, Jeep Compass, Hyundai Creta, and Kia Seltos in India.
