Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition launched in India at Rs 27.79 lakh

Mahindra Auto has collaborated with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products (WBDGCP) to bring a new ‘Batman Edition’ to the BE 6 EV’s lineup. The Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition is based on the Pack Three (79kWh) variant of the EV and is priced at Rs 27.79 lakh. Thematically, it takes inspiration from Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy. Mahindra will only produce 300 units of the special edition model. The automaker will start accepting bookings on Saturday, August 23, for a token amount of Rs 21,000.

Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition: Everything you need to know

The Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition gets a custom Satin Black paint shade. The body claddings are finished in gloss black. There are custom Batman decals on the front doors. The SUV rests on 20-inch alloy wheels. The brake callipers and suspension are finished in Alchemy Gold, offering a nice contrast to the all-black exteriors.

There’s a ‘BE 6 x The Dark Knight’ badge at the back of the EV and a ‘Batman Edition’ signature sticker on the rear door cladding. The Bat emblem can be found on the hub caps, front quarter panels, rear bumper, infinity roof, windows, and rear windshield. The carpet lamps project the Bat emblem too.

Inside, the special edition Mahindra BE 6 gets a brushed Alchemy Gold Batman Edition plaque on the dashboard. It features the serial number of the limited edition model. The driver’s cockpit is surrounded by a gold halo and has a charcoal leather instrument panel. Gold accents can be found on the steering wheel, Electronic Parking Brake, in-touch controller, and key fob. The Bat emblem is embossed on the seats, ‘boost’ button, and interior labels. The infotainment display has a special welcome animation as well. Lastly, the EV is loaded with special Batman-inspired engine sounds.

Things remain the same under the hood, as the Pack Three-based Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition generates a maximum power output of 286hp and 380Nm. The 79kWh battery pack can go up to 682km on a single charge, as claimed by ARAI. It can be charged with 7.2kW or 11kW home AC adapters.

Mr Pratap Bose, Chief Design & Creative Officer – Auto & Farm Sectors, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., said, “The BE 6 has always been about boldness and forward thinking. With the Batman Edition, we wanted to go further — to create something so personal, so visually arresting, that owning it feels like owning a piece of cinematic history. We’ve obsessed over even the smallest detail, so that every time you look at it, you discover something new.”
