Kia Seltos facelift mileage specs revealed

Kia Seltos facelift was launched in India last week at a starting price of Rs 10.89 lakh. The automaker has now revealed the mileage specifications for the midsize SUV. The new Kia Seltos is available for booking at a token amount of Rs 25,000. Current Seltos owners can use the MyKia app or register on the automaker’s official website to cut down on the waiting period.

Kia Seltos facelift: Mileage numbers for all the powertrains revealed

The new Kia Seltos facelift is available in three powertrain options – 1.5-litre NA petrol, 1.5-litre turbo petrol, and 1.5-litre diesel. The 1.5-litre naturally petrol engine puts out 115hp and 144Nm. It is available with a 6-speed manual and CVT gearbox. In a manual configuration, this engine offers a mileage of 17kmpl. The mileage for CVT variants is 17.7kmpl.

Kia Seltos facelift revealed, bookings open July 14

The 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine on the new Kia Seltos generates a maximum power output of 160hp. This engine can be paired with a 6-speed iMT or a 7-speed DCT gearbox. The iMT variants offer a mileage of 17.7kmpl while the DCT variants offer 17.9kmpl. In comparison, the discontinued 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine used to put up mileage figures of 16.1kmpl and 16.5kmpl for the iMT and DCT variants.

The 1.5-litre diesel engine generates a maximum power output of 116hp and 250Nm of torque. This engine can be paired with a 6-speed iMT or a 6-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox. The iMT variants offer a mileage of 20.7kmpl while the automatic variants offer 19.1kmpl.

2023 Kia Seltos facelift: What’s new?

In terms of features, the new Kia Seltos facelift gets a 10.25-inch twin-screen infotainment system with Android Auto/Apple CarPlay support and a digital driver display. The AC vents are now sleeker and the HVAC media controls panel gets a slight redesign as well. There are new interior colour options on offer for the GT and X-Line variants. The ADAS package on the Seltos facelift consists of 17 safety features.

Conclusion

Kia has also revealed that it has already received over 13,000 bookings for the new Seltos facelift. The midsize SUV rivals Hyundai Creta, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, Honda Elevate, Citroen C3 Aircross, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Toyota Urban Cruiser HyRyder in India.
