Kia EV6 facelift: What’s new?

The facelifted version of the Kia EV6 retains the signature look of the outgoing model while making subtle yet impactful changes to the design. The LED DRLs now feature Kia’s Star Map pattern, giving them a wider and more dynamic appearance. The front bumper gets sharper angles and the hood gets character lines that extend to the air intake vent. The LED tail lamps feature the Star Map design as well. The rear bumper has a wide, wing-type shape. The SUV still stands at dimensions of 4,695mm x 1,890mm x 1,550mm and has a 2,900mm wheelbase.

Inside, the Kia EV6 facelift gets twin 12.3-inch displays for the touchscreen infotainment system and the digital instrument cluster. The Kia logo on the steering wheel is now aligned to the right. A fingerprint sensor has been added for driver recognition while the head-up display and digital rear-view mirror have been slightly tweaked for a better driving experience. Other features on the SUV include Digital Key 2.0, Remote Smart Parking Assist 2, wireless charging, ambient lighting, and more. There is an ADAS package on board as well. The facelifted model has been awarded a 5-star safety rating by Euro NCAP.

The Kia EV6 facelift is underpinned by the E-GMP platform. It now features a larger 84kWh battery pack. The outgoing version was equipped with a 77.4kWh battery. The SUV offers a driving range of 650km and can be charged from 10-80% in just 18 minutes using a 350kW charger. The dual electric motor on the facelifted model produces a maximum power output of 325hp and 605Nm of torque.
