The teaser for the Kia Clavis gives a glimpse of its digital instrument cluster. The ‘Collision Warning’ alert on the instrument cluster points towards the inclusion of an ADAS package on the MPV – a feature that is missing on the current-gen Carens. It will also get a 360-degree camera. While Clavis’ interior will be similar to the Carens, the dashboard finish and cabin controls are expected to undergo some changes. The current-gen Kia Carens sports features like a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated seating, paddle shifters, and an 8-speaker Bose sound system.

The current-gen Kia Carens range starts at Rs 10.60 lakh and goes up to Rs 19.70 lakh. We expect the prices for the Kia Clavis to start at Rs 12 lakh. Its top-spec trim will cost more than Rs 20 lakh. Upon launch, the Clavis will rival MPVs like Maruti Suzuki XL6, Toyota Rumion, and Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, along with 3-row SUVs like Tata Safari, Hyundai Alcazar, and MG Hector.
