Hyundai Venue updated with ADAS, priced at Rs 10.33 lakh

Hyundai India has updated the Venue lineup with ADAS and a new gearbox option. Prices for the Hyundai Venue lineup (with ADAS) now start at Rs 10.33 lakh and go up to Rs 13.19 lakh. Meanwhile, the Venue N Line (with ADAS) starts at Rs 12 lakh and goes up to Rs 13.75 lakh. Hyundai Venue is the first SUV in its category to get Advanced Driver Assistance Systems.

Hyundai Venue: New ADAS features

Only the top-spec SX(O) trim of the Hyundai Venue gets the ADAS feature. The Venue N Line gets ADAS on the N8 trim. The ADAS package on the two SUVs includes features like Forward Collision Warning, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (Car, Cycle, and Pedestrian), Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Driver Attention Warning, Lane Following Assist, High Beam Assist, and Leading Vehicle Departure Alert.

The 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine on the Hyundai Venue can now be paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. This engine can produce a maximum power output of 120hp and 172Nm of torque. The 1.2-litre petrol engine continues to be offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox. This engine puts out 83hp and 114Nm. The 1.5-litre diesel engine can be paired with a 6-speed manual as well. It produces a maximum power of 116hp and 250Nm of torque.

Both VENUE and VENUE N Line will now feature Hyundai SmartSense. With this introduction, Hyundai now offers 5 Models equipped with ADAS that include IONIQ 5, TUCSON, VERNA, VENUE & VENUE N Line. Customers can now enjoy undiluted performance and thrilling experiences with the new 6-speed Manual Transmission mated to the 1.0 l Turbo GDi petrol engine, available on both VENUE & VENUE N Line. These strategic investments in introduction of new technologies, design, features and safety technologies across Hyundai’s product range are aimed at elevating customer’s ownership experiences.”

Hyundai Venue now becomes the only sub-compact SUV in India to offer ADAS. It is also the most affordable car in India that comes with this feature. The SUV rivals Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Toyota Urban Cruiser, and Mahindra XUV300.
