Hyundai Tucson gets a 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP

Hyundai Tucson has secured a 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP. It is the first Hyundai car to be crash-tested by the organisation. This rating applies to the India-spec model of the SUV and not the facelifted version that was introduced in the overseas markets earlier this year. BNCAP used the top-spec Signature 2L Petrol AT variant for the crash tests. Recently, the Mahindra Thar Roxx and XUV 3XO were also awarded a 5-star rating by the BNCAP.
