Honda Car India is thinking about introducing the ZR-V in the Indian market later this year. Honda ZR-V hybrid will be the fourth offering from the automaker in India, following Amaze, City, and Elevate. Honda has not officially confirmed its decision, but sources believe that the ZR-V hybrid could be launched in late 2025 or early 2026.

Honda ZR-V hybrid: What to expect?
Honda ZR-V bridges the gap between HR-V and CR-V in the automaker’s global portfolio. It stands at dimensions of 4,568mm x 1,840mm x 1,620mm and has a 2,657mm wheelbase. The front fascia of the SUV features an octagonal grille with vertical and horizontal slats. The horizontal slats are glossy while the vertical ones are finished in chrome. The profile of the SUV reveals its sporty silhouette and a smooth, tapering roofline. At the back, the ZR-V has a bold rear bumper and LED tail lamps that are neatly integrated with the tailgate.
Inside, the Honda ZR-V hybrid features a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 7-inch digital instrument cluster. The top-spec variants are equipped with a 10.2-inch instrument cluster and a 5-inch heads-up display. The touchscreen infotainment system is equipped with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Other features include a three-spoke steering, five charging ports, a 12-speaker Bose audio system, wireless charging, and more.
The Honda ZR-V hybrid is powered by a 2.0-litre direct-injection Atkinson engine. This engine is linked to two electric motors. The SUV produces a combined power output of 181hp and 315Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0-100kmph in 7.8 seconds. The hybrid SUV can shift between EV, Hybrid and Engine Drive with no input from the driver. There are four drive modes on offer – Normal, Sport, Eco, and Snow.Â

Conclusion
Like the CR-V and Accord hybrid, the Honda ZR-V hybrid will be brought to India as a full import. The automaker’s Greater Noida plant, responsible for assembling Completely Knocked Down (CKD) units, has not been operational since 2020. The SUV is priced between £39,895 (~Rs 43.06 lakh) to £43,350 (~Rs 46.68 lakh) in the UK.
