Honda Amaze gets benefits of up to Rs 31,000

Honda Amaze is being offered with benefits of up to Rs 31,000 for the month of August. These benefits can be availed in the form of cash discounts, free accessories, loyalty bonuses, and corporate discounts. These discounts will expire on August 31 and their amount vary among dealerships across the country.

Honda Amaze: August benefits breakdown

Honda Amaze gets a cash discount worth Rs 10,000. Buyers can also get free accessories worth up to Rs 12,296 with the sedan. Existing Honda customers get a loyalty bonus of Rs 5,000. Furthermore, the automaker is offering a corporate discount worth Rs 6,000 along with a special corporate discount worth Rs 10,000. With the loyalty bonus and corporate discounts added to the mix, buyers can get up to Rs 44,000 off on the Honda Amaze.

Honda Amaze is powered by a 1.2-litre iVTEC naturally aspirated petrol engine. This engine can produce a maximum power output of 89hp and 110Nm peak torque. Transmission options include a five-speed manual and a CVT gearbox. Amaze’s 1.5-litre iDTEC diesel engine was discontinued by the automaker last year due to its failure to comply with emission norms. This engine was capable of producing a peak power output of 100hp and 200Nm peak torque.

Honda is also gearing up to launch its debut midsize SUV in India next month. Honda Elevate will be powered by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces a maximum power output of 121hp and 145Nm of torque. This engine can be paired with a 6-speed manual or a CVT automatic gearbox. The midsize SUV will be available in four trims – SV, V, ZX, and VX. It stands at dimensions of 4,312mm x 1,790mm x 1,650mm. It has a wheelbase of 2,650mm and clears the ground at 220mm.

Conclusion

Back in April, Honda hiked the prices for the Amaze sedan by Rs 12,000. Prices for Honda Amaze start at Rs 7.05 lakh and go up to Rs 9.66 lakh. It rivals the likes of Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Hyundai Aura, and Tata Tigor.
