Force Citiline 10-seater MUV launched at Rs 15.93 lakh

The massive 10-seater Multi-Utility Vehicle, Force Citiline has been launched in India at Rs 15.93 lakh. The MUV is a new spin on the Force Trax Cruiser. Force Citiline cannot be registered as a private vehicle in Delhi and Maharashtra as the two states limit the seating capacity of private vehicles to 8 people. Other states will allow the MUV to be registered as a private vehicle.

Force Citiline: Everything you need to know

Force Citiline borrows its structure and design language from the Force Trax Cruiser but gets some new tweaks and updates. Up front, Force Citiline gets a redesigned grille with a round logo on it, like the Gurkha and Urbania. The grille comes with chrome accents and the bumper has been finished in the MUV’s body colours.

In profile, the Citiline and Trax Cruiser look pretty similar. The body colour finish from the bumpers extends to the wheel arches and other lower parts of the MUV’s body. In comparison, these parts get a black plastic finish in Force Trax Cruiser. The rear profile has no changes apart from the badging and the redesigned bumper.

The major change inside the Force Citiline is its seating layout. The MUV gets front-facing seats in a 2+3+2+3 layout. The bench rows can seat three people and the captain seats in the third row can accommodate two people. The second row gets a 60:40 split so passengers can access the last two seating rows. This new seating layout has reduced the MUV’s seating capacity to 10 passengers. The Force Trax Cruiser can accommodate 13 people.

Under the hood, the Force Citiline MUV is powered by a 2.6-litre diesel engine that can generate a maximum power output of 91hp and 250Nm torque. This engine is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. In terms of safety features, the MUV gets ABS with EBD.

Conclusion

There won’t be any additional features inside the Force Citiline. The MUV does not get an infotainment system. The AC vents have been mounted on the roof to cover the rear seating rows as well. Force is also planning on releasing the 5-door version of Gurkha to compete with the 5-door Thar and Jimny.
