Citroen India has hiked the prices of three of its most popular offerings in the country. Citroen Aircross has received the highest price hike out of the three cars, becoming dearer by Rs 45,000. Meanwhile, the C3 and Basalt have become more expensive by Rs 40,000 and Rs 20,000, respectively. No changes have been made to the three cars.

The Citroen Aircross range now starts at Rs 8.49 lakh and goes up to Rs 13.94 lakh. Here is the full price list.

The 7-seater Max variants are available with a dual-tone paint shade at a premium of Rs 20,000. The top-spec Max Turbo AT variant with a 7-seat configuration has received the highest price of Rs 45,000. The cost of the 5-seater Max variants remains unaffected.

Citroen C3 Blu Edition launched in India, discounts offered on other offerings

The top-spec Shine trim has received the highest price hike of Rs 40,000. This includes the regular and Turbo variants across manual and automatic transmissions. The entry-level and mid-spec Live and Feel are dearer by Rs 15,000. This excludes the Live (O) MT variant, as its price remains unchanged.

Citroen Basalt: Everything you need to know

The Max trim of the Basalt is available with a dual-tone paint shade at an additional cost of Rs 20,000. All variants of the crossover have received a uniform price hike of Rs 20,000. Citroen Basalt comes in 2 petrol engine options. The 1.2-litre NA petrol engine, available on the You and Plus trims, produces a maximum power output of 82hp. It can be mated to a manual gearbox only. Meanwhile, the 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine, available with the Plus and Max trims, generates a maximum power output of 110hp. This engine can be mated to a manual or automatic gearbox.

Final Thoughts

Citroen recently added the Live (O) and Max Turbo 5S MT variants to the C3 and Aircross lineups, respectively. These variants will be manufactured according to the booking demand. Since they are new variants, their prices have not been hiked.
