Hyundai Creta Electric’s design is almost identical to its ICE sibling. The EV rocks a shut-off grille with pixelated graphics, a new skid plate, and Active Air Flaps. The air flaps help in managing the airflow and improve the aerodynamic performance of the SUV. The R17 alloy wheels have Low Rolling Resistance (LRR), which also bumps up the SUV’s aerodynamics. The pixelated design found on the grille is also present on the front & rear bumpers and LED tail lamps.
While Hyundai has not revealed the interior layout of the Creta yet, it is confirmed to come with dual 12.5-inch screens for the touchscreen infotainment system and digital instrument cluster. It will borrow its steering wheel from the Kona EV and drive selector from the Ioniq 5 EV. Other features of the Hyundai Creta Electric include a 360-degree camera, Vehicle-to-load tech, i-Pedal tech, a Shift-by-wire system, a digital key, and more.
Hyundai Creta Electric is available in 2 battery sizes – 42kWh and 51.4kWh. The 42kWh battery pack offers a driving range of 390km. The 51.4kWh battery pack can keep the EV running for 473km on a full charge. A DC charger can charge the battery pack from 10-80% in just 58 minutes. An AC home charger can fully charge the EV from 10% in under 4 hours. The Creta Electric can go from 0-100kmph in just 7.9 seconds.
