BMW X7 Signature Edition launched in India at Rs 1.33 crore

BMW India has launched the X7 Signature Edition at Rs 1.33 crore. The Signature Edition of the luxury SUV gets some cosmetic and feature upgrades but remains mechanically unchanged. It is available in a single xDrive40i variant. The BMW X7 Signature Edition will be produced in limited numbers at the automaker’s manufacturing facility in Chennai. It can be exclusively booked via the BMW Online Shop.

BMW X7 Signature Edition: What’s new?

The front fascia of the BMW X7 Signature Edition features crystal headlamps with Swarovski glass cut crystals. The SUV also features aluminium satinated roof rails and an aluminium satinated exterior. The central air intake is framed by two chrome air vents. At the back, the SUV features 3D taillamps with a new inner graphic. The tail lamps are connected by a smoked-glass chrome bar.

Inside, the BMW X7 Signature Edition features a new curved display comprised of a 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. The new design gives the display a floating appearance. The instrument panel is lapped in genuine leather. The back seats get Alcantara cushions. Other features of the SUV include ambient lighting (14 colours), a panoramic sunroof, a head-up display, BMW Digital Key, BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant, and more.

The BMW X7 Signature Edition continues to be powered by the 3.0-litre six-cylinder petrol engine linked to a 48V mild hybrid system. It produces a total power output of 381hp and 520Nm torque. The 48V electrical motor alone produces a power output of 12hp and a torque output of 200Nm This engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The SUV can go from 0-100kmph in just 5.8 seconds.
