BMW X3 30 xDrive M Sport Pro launched in India at Rs 74.50 lakh

The BMW X3 lineup has been refreshed with a new top-spec variant. The 30 xDrive M Sport variant is priced at Rs 74.50 lakh. It joins the xDrive 20 petrol and xDrive 20d diesel variants in X3’s lineup. The new top-spec variant gets some cosmetic tweaks along with a mechanical upgrade that churns out an improved output.

The new X3 30 xDrive gets a fully black BMW kidney grille with iconic glow illumination and smoked LED headlamps and tail lamps up front. The SUV rests on 20-inch alloy wheels with red brake callipers. Its fenders get the M Sport badging. There are 5 paint shades on offer – Brooklyn Grey Metallic, Dune Grey Metallic, Alpine White, Individual Tanzanite Blue, and Black Sapphire Metallic.

Inside, the BMW X3 30 xDrive gets premium ‘Veganza’ leatherette on the dashboard and trims. The M stripes are stitched on the seat belts, and the puddle lamps project the M logo when illuminated. There aren’t any feature or instrumentation upgrades on the top-spec variant. It packs a 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display. There is support for wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Other features include a 15-speaker Harmon Kardon sound system, a head-up display, ventilated and powered front seats, 3-zone automatic climate control, a 360-degree camera, a panoramic sunroof, a powered tailgate, and more.

On the safety front, the BMW X3 30 xDrive gets 8 airbags, Attentiveness Assistance, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) including Cornering Brake Control (CBC), electric parking brake with auto hold, side-impact protection, electronic vehicle immobiliser with crash sensor, and child seat mounting. The ADAS package comprises features like Active Cruise Control (with Stop&Go Function), Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assistant and more.

The BMW X3 30 xDrive uses the same 2-litre 4-cylinder turbo-petrol engine as the 20 xDrive variant. However, it churns out an improved output of 258hp and 400Nm. It is mated to a 48V mild-hybrid system and an 8-speed torque converter gearbox.
