The facelifted version of the Audi RS Q8 Performance SUV has been launched in India at Rs 2.49 crore. Bookings for the SUV have been open since January. Buyers can book their model for a token amount of Rs 5 lakh. Audi RS Q8 was launched globally last month. In overseas markets, it is available in 2 variants. The base variant has not been launched in India.

The new Audi RS Q8 carries forward the design language established by the outgoing model but gets a few noticeable tweaks. It gets new front aprons, larger air intakes, and a honeycomb grille finished in gloss black. Flanking the grille on either side are LED Matrix headlamps integrated with LED DRLs. The SUV rests on 23-inch alloy wheels. There are 6 colour options for the alloy wheels. At the back, the RS Q8 gets OLED tail lamps. The Performance variant has two oval tailpipes. This sets it apart from the base variant.
Inside, the Audi RS Q8 Performance gets a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an 8.6-inch climate control screen, and a 12.3-inch Audi virtual cockpit with a shift light indicator. Buyers get to choose from 3 colour themes for the interior – Red, Grey, and Blue. Other features of the SUV include a four-zone climate control system, reclinable rear seats, a 17-speaker Bang and Olufsen audio system, a panoramic sunroof and more. Buyers can also opt for Valcona leather upholstery at a premium price.
Powering the Audi RS Q8 Performance is the 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine. This engine pumps out a maximum power output of 640hp and 850Nm. The Performance variant can go from 0-100kmph in just 3.6 seconds with a top speed of 305kmph. The standard variant produces 600hp and 800Nm. It can accelerate from 0-100kmph in 3.8 seconds and its top speed is capped at 250kmph.

The Performance variant of the Audi RS Q8 is the most powerful ICE offering from the automaker so far. Buyers can opt for additional features and cosmetic packs for an added price. In India, the luxury SUV rivals Lexus RX, Porsche Cayenne GTS, and Lamborghini Urus S.
