Audi has added a new ‘Performance’ variant to the Q6 e-tron lineup. The Audi Q6 e-tron made its debut in March 2024 with two variants – the Q6 e-tron Quattro and the SQ6 e-tron. The Q6 e-tron Performance will act as the entry-level variant to the lineup. It also offers the highest driving range and is available in a 2WD configuration. It will be launched later this year.

Audi Q6 e-tron Performance: What’s on offer?
The new Performance variant of the Audi Q6 e-tron will be made available in a rear-wheel drive configuration. It is powered by a Permanent Synchronous Motor which generates a maximum power output of 326hp and accelerates the vehicle from 0-100 kmph in 6.6 seconds. Meanwhile, the Q6 e-tron Quattro and SQ6 e-tron put out 387hp and 517hp respectively.
The Performance variant has a higher driving range than the other two variants. It is equipped with the same 100kWh battery pack as the Quattro and the SQ6 but offers a driving range of 641km. This is 16km higher than the Q6 e-tron and 43km higher than the SQ6 e-tron. A 10-minute charge can power the car for 260km.
There are no cosmetic changes on the entry-level Q6 e-tron. Inside, it gets a twin-screen setup comprising a 14.5-inch central touchscreen and another 11.9-inch screen. There’s also a 10.9-inch passenger touchscreen for playing media and other entertainment needs. This screen is out of the driver’s range of sight. The infotainment system on the electric SUV supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The Q6 e-tron has 526 litres of boot space along with a 64-litre frunk.

Conclusion
In Europe, the entry-level Audi Q6 e-tron is priced at EUR 68,800. Bookings for the SUV are now open in Europe. Audi will roll out the deliveries for the entry-level model in the third quarter of the year. Meanwhile, the deliveries for the Quattro and SQ6 will begin in August. In India, the Audi Q6 e-tron Performance will be priced around Rs 70 lakh and will rival the likes of the BMW iX3, Volvo XC40 Recharge, Mercedes EQE SUV, and others.
