MT-03 Iron Man edition launched by Yamaha in Brazil

Yamaha bikes are famous all over the world for their reliability and powerful engines. The company has launched its new MT-03 Iron Man edition in brazil. The twin-cylinder naked street motorcycle comes painted in red and gold inspired by the superhero. As per the launch, we can tell there are only aesthetic changes as the company recently updated MT-03 so any engine updates were not expected.

The bike gets an attractive red-gold colour combination which appears similarly on Marvel’s superhero, Iron Man. Near the headlamp, we can also spot a little Avengers logo sneaking from the panel. The company did a great job of adding the model name “MT” and still being able to integrate Iron man’s helmet decal running all over the fuel tank. The bike’s 17-inch alloy wheels also get the taste of the paint scheme with golden rim tapes.

The bike still sports the same diamond-type frame holding the body and the powerful twin-cylinder engine. Talking about the engine it’s still the 321cc, liquid-cooled engine capable of delivering 42bhp of maximum power and 30Nm of peak torque. The same is mated with a six-speed transmission with a slipper clutch. The same digital cluster can also be found in this new edition.

Braking duties are done by 298mm front disc and 220mm rear disc brake paired with dual-channel ABS as standard. The suspension kit used includes 37mm upside-down forks for the front and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear. The price of the bike is BRL 27,790 (Rs 3.73 lakh approx). Talking about its Indian launch, the company is yet to release the normal MT-03 so a special edition is very unlikely to come into the Indian market anytime soon.
