After Hero Xpulse 200 4V, the company is rushing out more of its two-wheelers. The launch of the new Hero Pleasure Plus XTEC scooter is scheduled for tomorrow. The scooter was first introduced in collaboration with HeroHonda back in 2006. The scooter ever since got a few minor updates and stayed evergreen. But now Hero MotoCorp has done a mind-blowing job in redesigning the scooter entirely. Not only visual updates can be seen, but we can also see some updates on the smart tech used by the company.

The scooter will be available in all the nearest Hero dealerships starting from tomorrow i.e 14 Oct 2021. The Pleasure Plus Xtec will be the top of the trim which will start from Rs 69,500 ex-showroom India. On the other hand, the base LX variant will start from RS 61,900 ex-showroom India.
Hero planned to give a new Pleasure a retro-themed design with the addition of premium chrome all over the body including Mirrors, Muffler Protector, Handle Bar, Seat Backrest and Front Fender. To make it even more retro-looking the company added dual-toned seats with seat backrest for the papillon holding the Hero badging. The dimensions of the new pleasure stand at 1,769mm in length, 704mm in width and 1,162mm in height with a wheelbase of 1,238mm. The weight of the scooter is 106 kg with 4.8 litres of tank capacity.
The scooter will be available in 7 different colours being: Polestar Blue, Matte Vernier Grey, Matte Black, Matte Green, Midnight Black, Pearl Silver White, and Sporty Red. While the special Jubilant Yellow is saved for Pleasure Plus Xtec only. The top of the trim Xtec variant comes with the first in segment LED projector headlamp and smart Bluetooth connect features.

This helps to connect your phone directly to the scooter displaying information like incoming/missed call alerts, new message alerts along with the phone battery status. Pleasure also has a side stand engine cut off feature for safety across all the trims.
The engine lineup is not changed and the new pleasure is powered by the same 110.9cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, OHC, 4 strokes, fuel-injected engine that makes 8.0 hp power at 7,000 rpm and 8.70 Nm of maximum torque at 5,500 rpm mated with i3S technology to increase fuel efficiency. Braking duties are done by drum brakes on both in the rear and front.
