2021 Maruti Suzuki Celerio to launched on November 10

Maruti Suzuki Celerio is all set to be launched in the Indian market. The launch date of the new generation is set on November 10, 2021. The Maruti Suzuki India Limited has been working on the next-gen Celerio for quite a time now. The car has been spotted testing on multiple occasions, once with a road-ready undisguised version as well. The car was put on sale back in 2014 and made a strong impact on affordable automatic cars available in India.

With the car manufacturer working on a new platform, we can expect the new Celerio to come on it. The spy images indicate that the next-gen version of the car will be bolder and wider than the previous-gen especially from the front and rear bumper. With the new car, we can contemplate the company to release it on their latest Heartect K architecture.

Powering the car will be the updated 1.0-litre three-cylinder K10C rather than the 1.2-litre unit on the previous gen. The naturally aspirated powertrain paired with the K10C technology helps the car to be more fuel-efficient in nature. The DualJet 1.2-liter K12N unit of Baleno uses the same technology to give more fuel mileage. Switching to a three-cylinder will increase the power without compromising the fuel economy. The new engine will be paired with either a five-speed manual or AMT transmission.

The interior will get major changes with revamped panels and features like the latest touchscreen infotainment system with the support of Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. We can also look forward to a new semi-digital instrument cluster. With extra features to be expected on the top-end variants. The car will be aggressively priced for Indian customers and will give tough competition to entry-level cars.
