Skoda Slavia is set to get a facelift next month. The updated model was unveiled in August. It has now gone into production at Skoda Auto Volkswagen India’s plant in Chakan, Maharashtra. Skoda has also confirmed October 6 as the launch date for the refreshed sedan. Buyers can reserve their model for a token amount of Rs 15,000.

2026 Skoda Slavia facelift: Here’s what you need to know
The Skoda Slavia facelift is underpinned by the same MQB-A0-IN platform as the outgoing model. The two models are dimensionally identical. In terms of styling, the facelift gets some updates to its LED headlamps, LED DRLs, and front grille. The segmented DRLs are connected by bar-shaped lighting elements that are integrated into the grille. The front bumper holds the air dam. The 16-inch alloy wheels get a new design along the sides, while at the back, the tail lamps get a few tweaks. The glossy trim connecting the tail lamps holds the ‘SKODA’ lettering.
Inside, the Slavia facelift gets larger displays on the dashboard. A 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster replaces the 8-inch unit of the outgoing model. The 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Other features include a 360-degree camera, a single-pane sunroof, powered front seats with ventilation, a massage function for the rear seats, an AI companion powered by Google Cloud and more. The two big omissions are a panoramic sunroof and an ADAS suite.
No mechanical changes have been made to the Slavia facelift. It continues to be offered in 2 engine options. The 1.0-litre three-cylinder TSI turbo petrol engine generates a maximum power of 115hp and 175Nm peak torque. This engine can be mated to a 6-speed manual or a new 8-speed torque-converter automatic transmission. The 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine produces a maximum power output of 150hp and 250Nm peak torque. Transmission options for this engine include a six-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox.

Final Thoughts
The Slavia facelift will get 2 new paint shades – Cappuccino Beige and Arctic Silver. The outgoing model is priced between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 18.29 lakh. The new model will demand a small premium. Its prices will be revealed on launch day. Upon launch, it will continue to rival the Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Virtus, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, and Honda City in India.
