The 2nd-gen Kia Seltos was launched in India back in January. The SUV’s lineup has been refreshed with 2 new variants – GTX(O) and X-Line(O). These 2 variants will sit at the top of the Seltos’ trim hierarchy. They are available with turbo-petrol and diesel engine options. Kia has added a new Level F+ ADAS suite on these variants to further elevate their safety quotient.

2026 Kia Seltos: What do the new variants offer?
Here are the prices of the 2 new variants:
- GTX(O)/X-Line(O) 1.5-litre turbo-petrol DCT: Rs 21.57 lakh.
- GTX(O)/X-Line(O) 1.5-litre diesel AT: Rs 21.82 lakh.
The ADAS F+ package on the new variants expands the suite to include 28 advanced safety functions. These include Front Collision-Avoidance Assist – Junction Crossing (FCA-JC), Front Collision-Avoidance Assist – Lane Change Oncoming (FCA-LO), Front Collision-Avoidance Assist – Lane Change Side (FCA-LS), Front Collision-Avoidance Assist with Evasive Steering Assist (FCA-W/ESA), Navigation-Based Smart Cruise Control – Zone (NSCC-Z), Navigation-Based Smart Cruise Control – Curve (NSCC-C), and Highway Driving Assist (HDA).
Other feature additions include a Heads-Up Display (HUD), Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC), Kia Connect 2.0 with 85+ features, a voice assistant with support for multiple Indian languages, an air purifier with an AQI display, rain-sensing wipers, a smart dashcam with front and rear cameras, one-touch auto up/down for power windows, and a digital key.
The 2nd-gen Kia Seltos comes in 3 engine options. The 2 new variants are only available with the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol 7-speed DCT and 1.5-litre diesel 6-speed AT powertrains. The former generates a maximum power output of 160hp and 253Nm. On lower trims, it is also available with a 6-speed iMT gearbox. Meanwhile, the diesel engine puts out 116hp and 250Nm. It is also available with a 6-speed manual transmission on lower variants. Other variants of the Seltos are also available with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. It generates a maximum power output of 115hp and 144Nm of torque. It can be mated to a 6-speed manual or CVT gearbox.

Final Thoughts
Prices for the Seltos lineup start at Rs 10.99 lakh. The SUV was rated 5 stars for safety by the Bharat NCAP earlier this year. It rivals the Hyundai Creta, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, Honda Elevate, Citroen C3 Aircross, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and Toyota Urban Cruiser HyRyder in India.
