Skoda India has added a much-needed ADAS package to its flagship offering in India. The Sportline and L&K variants of the Skoda Kodiaq have received this feature. The entry-level Lounge variant is still devoid of an ADAS package. The automaker has not announced the prices of the updated variants yet.

2026 Skoda Kushaq: What’s new?

The ADAS package on the Sportline and L&K variants of the Skoda Kodiaq comprises 7 functions. These include Adaptive Cruise Control, Front Assist (with collision warning and emergency braking), Side Assist (with blind spot detection and lane changing assist), Lane Keep Assist, Exit Warning, and Beam Assist. The Kodiaq now becomes the only Skoda car in India to come with an ADAS suite.

Other safety features of the SUV include 9 airbags, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, parking assist, electronic differential lock, driver drowsiness alert system, multi-collision braking, and hill start assist with descent control.

No cosmetic changes have been made to the SUV, but the grille-integrated segmented LED DRLs are now available on the Sportline variant. Previously, it was a feature exclusive to the top-spec L&K variant. The entry-level Lounge variant continues without any changes.

2025 Skoda Kodiaq: Everything you need to know

No instrumentation changes have been made to the Kodiaq SUV either. It rocks a 13-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system, a 10-inch digital driver’s display, massage seats, a panoramic sunroof, physical dials for the HVAC system, a 13-speaker audio system, a virtual pedal for the electric tailgate, wireless charging, wireless phone mirroring, smart dials, and more. The L&K variant has a new two-spoke steering wheel while the Sportline variant sticks with the 3-spoke unit.

2025 Skoda Kodiaq: Everything you need to know

Things remain the same under the hood as well, as the Skoda Kodiaq continues to be powered by the 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine. It generates a maximum power output of 204hp and 320Nm of torque. This is an improvement of 14hp compared to the outgoing model. The engine is mated to a 7-speed DCT gearbox. All three variants rock the All Wheel Drive configuration. Skoda claims a mileage of 14.86km/l on the SUV.

Final Thoughts

Prices for the Skoda Kodiaq range start at Rs 39.99 lakh and go up to Rs 45.96 lakh. Skoda will update the prices of the Sportline and L&K variants in the coming days, but the starting price of the SUV will remain unchanged. Currently, the Kodiaq rivals the Jeep Meridian, Volkswagen Tiguan, and Nissan X-Trail in India.
