The Maruti Suzuki Brezza will be refreshed with a new model this year. Its facelift version was first spotted testing in November 2025. New spy shots of the compact SUV emerged earlier this week. Unlike the previous test mules, the new unit was not covered under heavy drapes. The spy shots offer a closer look at the SUV’s front fascia. The facelifted model is expected to go on sale in the summer.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift: What to expect?

The new test mules of the Maruti Suzuki Brezza reveal a wider front grille with generous chrome plating. The front bumper has a beefier, more muscular look. It is integrated with a silver skid plate at the bottom. The fog lamp housings are now vertically aligned. The facelift carries forward the LED headlamps of the current model. Not much is known about the profile and the rear section of the new model so far. Maruti may refresh the design of the alloy wheels. The LED tail lamps will likely be connected by a segmented light bar.

Maruti has kept a tight lid on the interior layout and cabin design of the upcoming Brezza SUV. While previous spy shots have given a glimpse of the SUV’s cabin, it is hard to make out anything about the instrumentation. We expect the SUV to upgrade its touchscreen infotainment system from a 9-inch unit to a larger 10.1-inch display. Other features like ventilated front seats, a powered driver’s seat, ambient lighting, and rear sunshades are expected to make the cut. Maruti could equip the Brezza with an entry-level ADAS package as well.

Things will remain the same under the hood of the Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift, as it will continue to be powered by the 1.5-litre K15C DualJet engine. This engine produces a maximum power output of 101hp and 136Nm of torque. It can be mated to a manual or automatic transmission. In a CNG guise, the SUV produces a power output of 88hp and 121.5Nm of torque. It offers a mileage of 25.51km/kg. The CNG variants are available with a manual transmission only. The facelift model could get an underbody CNG tank.

Final Thoughts

The current Brezza lineup starts at Rs 8.26 lakh and goes up to Rs 13.01 lakh. We don’t expect the facelift to demand a significant premium, if any at all. Upon launch, it will continue to rival the Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Hyundai Venue, Kia Syros, Maruti Suzuki Fronx, and Tata Nexon.
