Hyundai Motor India is planning to introduce the 2nd-gen Venue in the country this year. Ahead of the launch, the 2025 Hyundai Venue was spotted testing on Indian roads. Last month, the new Venue N Line was also spied in India. The automaker is planning an October launch for the compact SUV.

2025 Hyundai Venue: What to expect?

The next-gen Hyundai Venue will follow the design language of the Creta SUV. Its quad-LED headlamps will have integrated DRLs. The DRLs will extend to the bottom of the headlamps with an L-shaped segment. The parametric grille will be replaced by rectangular slats. Along the sides, the SUV will get thick wheel arch cladding, a flatter silhouette, and a new design for the 16-inch alloy wheels. All four wheels will be equipped with disc brakes. At the back, the design of the bumper and LED tail lamps will be revised.

Not much is known about the interior of the next-gen Hyundai Venue so far. It will likely be inspired by the Hyundai Creta. The SUV will rock a bigger touchscreen infotainment system and digital instrument cluster. Other features will include a panoramic sunroof, ventilated seating, a Level 2 ADAS package, and more.

No changes will be made under the hood of the next-gen Hyundai Venue. There will be 3 powertrain options on offer. The 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine produces a maximum power output of 83hp and 114Nm of torque. This engine can be mated to a 5-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT gearbox. The 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine puts out 120hp and 170Nm. This engine can also be paired with a 5-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT gearbox. Lastly, the 1.5-litre diesel engine generates a maximum power output of 115hp and 250Nm of torque. This engine is only available with a 6-speed manual transmission.

Final Thoughts

More details about the next-gen Hyundai Venue will be revealed closer to launch. The current-gen Venue is priced between Rs 7.94 lakh and Rs 13.62 lakh. Expect a small premium on the next-gen version of the SUV. Upon launch, the Venue will rival the Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Skoda Kylaq, Maruti Suzuki Fronx, and Maruti Suzuki Brezza.
