BYD India has added two new variants to the Atto 3 EV lineup in India. The previously available variant will now form the top-spec ‘Superior’ trim. The entry-level ‘Dynamic’ trim is priced at Rs 24.99 lakh while the mid-spec ‘Premium’ trim fetches Rs 29.85 lakh.

The entry-level Dynamic variant of BYD Atto 3 is equipped with a smaller, 49.92kWh battery pack. It offers a driving range of up to 468km (ARAI) on a full charge. The Premium and Superior variants continue with the 60.48kWh battery pack. This unit delivers a driving range of up to 521km (ARAI).
With a DC fast charger, the two battery packs can be charged from 0-80% in 50 minutes. An AC charger takes 8 hours to charge the smaller battery pack and 10 hours to replenish the 60.48kWh unit. Powering all three variants of the BYD Atto 3 is a front-mounted single electric motor that can produce a maximum power output of 204hp and 310Nm of torque.
The mid-spec Premium variant of BYD Atto 3 misses out on ADAS and adaptive LED headlamps. The Dynamic trim misses out on these features as well as the powered tailgate, 8-speaker sound system, and multi-coloured ambient lighting. It also gets smaller 17-inch alloy wheels.
In terms of standard features, the BYD Atto 3 gets a 12.8-inch rotating touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 5-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, panoramic sunroof, powered front seats, automatic climate control, and more.

We have also introduced the Cosmos Black Edition, adding an element of style and colour to our new lineup. Our diversified offerings not only expand our product portfolio but also pave the way for a more inclusive EV future. We aim to make premium electric mobility accessible to a broader audience. With the launch of these new variants, we are one step closer to realizing this vision.”

BYD has also introduced a new colour option for the Atto 3 EV – Cosmos Black. The electric SUV comes with a 7kW home charger and a 3kW portable charging box. BYD’s current dealership network in India includes 26 showrooms across 23 cities. The Atto 3 rivals MG ZS EV and Tata Nexon EV.
