Nissan Tekton awarded a 5-star safety rating by Bharat NCAP

Nissan Tekton has been rated 5 stars for safety by the Bharat NCAP. The midsize SUV went on sale in India earlier today. It is a rebadged version of the Renault Duster. Since the two SUVs share the same safety equipment and vehicle structure, Bharat NCAP based the Tekton’s safety rating on its assessment of the Duster, which was crash-tested in March 2026. Nissan’s SUV has not been individually crash-tested by the safety program yet.
