Mahindra XUV 3XO gets Dolby Atmos support

Mahindra Auto has added support for Dolby Atmos to the XUV 3XO. This feature will be available in 4 variants of Mahindra XUV 3XO – AX5L, AX7, AX7L, and the newly introduced REVX A. The XUV 3XO becomes the first compact SUV under Rs 12 lakh to offer this feature. The new variants will go on sale in mid-September. Mahindra has not mentioned whether the SUV will get a price hike.

Mahindra XUV 3XO: Now available with a Dolby Atmos audio system

Mahindra XUV 3XO’s 6-speaker audio system is tuned to complement the cabin size and architecture. Dolby Atmos provides an immersive listening experience to every passenger and places them at the centre of the soundstage. The top-spec AX7L variant pushes things further with an additional subwoofer. It adds richness to the low-end frequencies and offers a clear and cinematic sound.

By bringing premium features like Dolby Atmos to the XUV 3XO, we aim to connect with the evolving aspirations of today’s SUV buyers.”

Other features of the Mahindra XUV 3XO include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, another 10.25-inch screen for the digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, and more. One of the biggest highlights of the XUV 3XO is the Level 2 ADAS package.

The Mahindra XUV 3XO comes in three engine options – 1.2-litre 3-cylinder direct-injection turbo petrol, 1.2-litre turbo petrol, and 1.5-litre diesel. The 1.2-litre 3-cylinder mStallion direct-injection turbo-petrol engine produces a maximum power output of 131hp and 230Nm torque. The 1.2-litre turbo petrol puts out 110hp. The 1.5-litre diesel engine generates a power output of 117hp. These engines can be mated to manual and AMT gearboxes.

Final Thoughts

The XUV 3XO is the fourth Mahindra offering after the BE 6, XEV 9e, and Thar Roxx to get Dolby Atmos support. Its prices start at Rs 7.99 lakh and go up to Rs 15.80 lakh. It rivals the likes of the Maruti Suzuki BrezzaHyundai Venue faceliftKia SonetTata NexonRenault KigerToyota Urban Cruiser TaisorMaruti Suzuki Fronx, and Nissan Magnite.
