Yezdi’s new adventure bike spied on in camouflage avatar. Yezdi is a classic company owned by Mahindra. The company is all set and ready to be in the spotlight in its new avatar. There are many testing mules spotted again on the road, which is exciting news for Indian customers. Yezdi has been a name famous among bike enthusiasts and has become a largely collector’s item. But now the wait is over, Yezdi is back with a banger. In a video by Kaif Nasir an Indian YouTuber, we can see Yezdi testing its new ADV on roads.

The retro look of the bike is still evident with a modern styling makeover. The handlebar is set up high making the bike suitable for adventure and long tours. The vintage-looking bike still has a circular headlight and rear view mirror. The footpegs are centrally placed for riding comfort. For giving the bike a scrambler look, the bike is equipped with minimum fairing with a number plate mounted on the tyre hugger.

In the front, the bike gets conventional telescopic forks and twin shockers at the rear. Tires are seen to be dual purpose with spoked rims. For braking, the bike is using disc brakes on both front and rear. To make the vehicle competitive, Yezdi is expected to give ABS as standard. Along with these features, we can also see tall visors for consumers to tuck in at high speeds.

The bike can be named Roadking and primarily rival Royal Enfield’s Hunter 350 and Himalayan. This new bike is expected to borrow the identical 293cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor from Jawa. The same is capable of generating max power of 27.3 ps and peak torque of 27 Nm. For transmission company uses a 6-speed mesh transmission.

There is also a possibility that Roadking can borrow an engine from Jawa Perak as well. The engine is a 334cc motor that makes 30.64 ps of power and a peak torque of 32.74 Nm. It is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox. The price of Yezdi’s new ADV will be kept competitive to give good competition to its rival Royal Enfield.
