Tata Sierra: What’s on offer?

The new Tata Sierra is 4,340mm long, 1,841mm wide, and 1,715mm tall. It has a 2,730mm wheelbase. It shares its name with the iconic 1991 Sierra SUV from Tata. With the revival of the nameplate, Tata has also taken some design inspiration from its iconic SUV. The upright profile of the new Sierra immediately harkens back to its ’90s predecessor. While the iconic model had a wraparound rear glass section, modern safety standards limit newer cars from going down that path. As a clever workaround, Tata has used black shades to recreate the wraparound effect.

The new Tata Sierra also brings a healthy dose of modernity along with it. Up front, it features sleek and sharp ‘Light Saber’ LED DRLs. These DRLs span the width of the SUV. The LED headlamps are vertically stacked on either side of the grille. Along the sides, the SUV rocks premium flush-sitting handles and 19-inch alloy wheels. The LED tail lamps follow the design language of the DRLs. The SUV comes in 6 exterior paint shades – Coorg Clouds, Pristine White, Pure Grey, Andaman Adventure, Munnar Mist, and Bengal Rouge.
