Nissan India has hiked the prices for the Magnite SUV for the second time this year. Nissan Magnite was launched in India in October 2024 at an introductory price of Rs 5.99 lakh. This introductory offer ended in January 2025 and the SUV’s prices were hiked by up to Rs 22,000, depending on the variant. The Magnite is now dearer by up to Rs 20,000, depending on the variant.

The 2025 Nissan Magnite is available in 2 powertrains – similar to its predecessor. The 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine produces a maximum power output of 72hp and 96Nm of torque. This engine can be linked to a 5-speed manual or automatic transmission. Meanwhile, the 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine produces a maximum power output of 100hp and 160Nm of torque. This engine can be mated to a 5-speed manual or CVT gearbox.
Inside, the facelifted Nissan Magnite features an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, 3D sound by Arkamys, cruise control, a global smart key with remote engine start, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, and more. The automaker also offers a unique tech pack for the SUV with features like a dashcam, wireless charger, premium speakers (JBL powered by Harman), puddle lamps and LED scuff plates.

Nissan Magnite is one of the two cars in the automaker’s Indian portfolio. It can be booked online for a token amount of Rs 11,000. The X-Trail, Nissan’s second offering in India, fetches Rs 49.92 lakh. The Magnite rivals the Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Tata Punch, and Maruti Suzuki Brezza in India.
