The MG Gloster facelift is a rebadged version of the LDV D90/Maxus D90. The facelifted model of the SUV will get significant upgrades across the board. Up front, the 2024 Gloster will rock a new three-slat grille and a split headlamps setup. The design of the LED headlamps and DRLs will be tweaked for the facelift.
The test module of the MG Gloster which was spotted testing in India retained the alloy wheels from the outgoing model. The produced model will likely have an updated design for the alloys. The rear end of the SUV will sport new LED tail lamps which will mimic the design of the DRLs. The tail lamps will be connected by a light bar.
Not much is known about the interior layout of the MG Gloster facelift. It is expected to come with a larger touchscreen infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster. Other features will likely include a Level 2 ADAS package, ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, and wireless charging.
Things will remain the same under the hood as the MG Gloster facelift will continue to be powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine in ‘turbo’ and ‘twin-turbo’ specs. The turbo engine can produce a maximum power of 161bhp and 375Nm peak torque, while the twin-turbo engine can generate a maximum power of 215bhp and 380Nm peak torque. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
