Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara
The CNG version of Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara has re-entered the Indian market after a short hiatus that started in April. The CNG model of the midsize SUV has been updated with new features. It now comes with 6 airbags as standard. Premium features like ventilated seating are wireless charging have been added to the new CNG model as well. Its prices start at Rs 13.48 lakh.

Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara CNG comes in 2 variants. Either variant demands a premium of Rs 95,000 over its petrol counterpart.

Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara CNG is powered by a 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine. It produces a maximum power output of 89hp and 121.5Nm of torque. Its petrol counterpart puts out 103hp and 137Nm. The CNG engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. It is not available with an automatic transmission. It offers a fuel economy of 26.6km/kg.
In terms of new feature additions, the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara CNG gets an air purifier with a PM2.5 display, ventilated front seats, automatic climate control, rear AC vent, a Clarion sound system, reclining rear seats with a 60:40 split, keyless entry, a push start/stop Button, auto-folding ORVMs, a wireless charging dock, and more. The 9-inch SmartPlay Pro+ touchscreen infotainment system supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. There’s connected car tech in the form of Suzuki Connect onboard.
On the safety front, the CNG model of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara gets 6 airbags as a safety feature. This is supplemented by Electronic Stability Program+ (ESP) with Hill Hold Assist, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), front and rear disc brakes, ISOFIX child seat restraint system, a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and more.

The regular Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara range starts at Rs 11.42 lakh and goes up to Rs 2068 lakh. Its all-electric sibling, e Vitara, will be launched in India in the coming months. The midsize SUV rivals Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Honda Elevate, Citroen C3 Aircross, and Toyota Urban Cruiser HyRyder.
