Maruti Suzuki Dzire has crossed the 3 million sales landmark in India. The compact sedan was introduced in the country back in 2008. Garnering 3 million sales cements Maruti Suzuki Dzire’s spot at the top of the compact sedan pile. Maruti sold 214,488 units of the sedan in CY2025 alone, making it the best-selling car in India last year.
Over the years, the Dzire has shaped the compact sedan segment, constantly setting new benchmarks with every new update. Its first-gen model introduced features like dual front airbags, ABS, and climate control in its segment. Its safety standards remain world-class, with the latest 4th-gen model securing 5-star safety ratings from Bharat NCAP and Global NCAP.
The 4th-gen Dzire stands at dimensions of 3,995mm x 1,735mm, 1,525mm and has a 2,450mm wheelbase. It features sharp LED headlamps integrated with LED DRLs and crystal-like elements.
