Jeep Compass and Meridian get Trail Editions, prices start at Rs 25.41 lakh

Jeep India has added a new Trail Edition to the lineups of Compass and Meridian SUVs. Prices for the Jeep Compass Trail Edition start at Rs 25.41 lakh and go up to Rs 27.41 lakh. Meanwhile, the Meridian Trail Edition is priced between Rs 31.27 lakh and Rs 37.27 lakh. Jeep has confirmed that the special edition models are available for a limited time period.

Jeep Compass & Meridian Trail Editions: What’s new?

Here is the price list for the Jeep Compass Trail Edition.

The Jeep Compass Trail Edition is based on the Longitude (O) trim of the SUV. It gets special ‘Trail Edition’ hood and body decals along with matte black grille accents. There are neutral grey elements across components like grille rings, DLO and backlight mouldings, roof rail inserts, ORVMs, badging, rear lower fascia appliqué, and red-accented front lower fascia. The roof rails and 18-inch alloy wheels get a metallic granite satin gloss finish.

Inside, the Jeep Compass Trail Edition gets black leatherette upholstery with contrast red stitching. The red stitching can also be found on the steering wheel, dashboard, and gear boot. The all-weather floor mats are branded with ‘Trail Edition’. There are no instrumentation upgrades.

The Meridian Trail Edition is based on the Limited (O) trim of the SUV. It also gets signature hood decals, Trail Edition badging, and a high-gloss black roof. Neutral grey accents can be found on the grille, headlamp surrounds, roof rail inserts, rear fascia valence, badges, and side cladding appliqué. Piano black accents can be found on the fog lamp surrounds, DLO, rear lightbar moulding, ORVMs, and rear lower fascia. The front fascia gets red highlights.

The Meridian Trail Edition flaunts a high-contrast black vinyl interior with ruby red accents. The centre console and speaker are finished in piano black. The scuff plates are ‘Trail’ themed. No changes have been made to the instrumentation.

Final Thoughts

No changes have been made to the powertrain of either SUV. Jeep is offering a complimentary 3-year Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) with both special edition SUVs. Compass Trail Edition buyers further receive a 5-year extended warranty and a direct cash benefit of Rs 20,000.
