Hyundai Creta Knight Edition launched in India at Rs 14.51 lakh

Hyundai India has launched a Knight Edition for the facelifted version of the Creta SUV. Prices for the Hyundai Creta Knight Edition start at Rs 14.51 lakh and go up to Rs 20.15 lakh. The Knight Edition is available with the 1.5-litre NA petrol and 1.5-litre diesel powertrains across S(O) and SX (O) variants. The special edition SUV gets the familiar all-black treatment.

The Hyundai Creta Knight Edition gets 21 cosmetic changes inside and out. These include an all-black treatment for the grille, Hyundai logo, skid plates, roof rails, OVRMs, spoiler, side sill, and C Pillar. The blacked-out alloy wheels receive red brake callipers. The SUV gets exclusive ‘Knight’ badging as well.

The interior of the Hyundai Creta receives the all-black treatment as well. The black leatherette seat upholstery has brass piping and stitching. The metal pads are now sportier. The steering wheel and gear boot are wrapped in leather with brass stitching.

The Knight Edition for Hyundai Creta gets two powertrain options. The 1.5-litre four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine produces a maximum power output of 115hp and 144Nm of torque. This engine can be mated to a 6-speed manual or a CVT gearbox. Meanwhile, the 1.5-litre diesel engine produces a maximum power output of 116hp and 250Nm of torque. It can be paired with a 6-speed manual or DCT gearbox.

Conclusion

The Hyundai Creta facelift was launched in January 2024. The SUV is currently priced between Rs 11 lakh and Rs 20.15 lakh. The Knight Edition version of the SUV is exclusively available in black. The Creta rivals the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser HyRyder, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, Honda Elevate, Citroen C3 Aircross, and Skoda Kushaq.
