Tata Motors is offering discounts of up to Rs 1 lakh on the unsold MY2023 units of Tata Nexon EV. This discount applies to the facelift as well as pre-facelift models. MY2024 units of the electric SUV are not eligible for discounts. These offers will expire by the end of the month. Tata Nexon EV received a facelift back in September 2023. It remains one of the bestselling electric SUVs in India.

Here is the variant-wise breakdown of the discounts available for the Tata Nexon EV facelift.
Fearless+ S LR – Rs 1 lakh
Fearless LR – Rs 85,000
Fearless+ MR, Fearless+ S MR, Fearless+ LR – Rs 65,000
Fearless MR, Empowered+ LR, Empowered MR – Rs 50,000
The MR battery variant of the Tata Nexon EV gets a 30kWh battery pack that offers a driving range of 325km. Meanwhile, the 40.5kWh battery pack on the LR variant can go up to 465km on a full charge. This is an improvement of 12km for both variants compared to their pre-facelift versions. Talking about the power specs, the Nexon EV MR puts out 129hp and 215Nm, while the LR variants produce 145hp and 215Nm.
Tata Nexon EV pre-facelift
Maximum Discount: Rs 2.80 lakh
The top-spec Max variant of the pre-facelift Tata Nexon EV gets the biggest discount package worth Rs 2.80 lakh. The Prime variants of the electric SUV get discounts within the range of Rs 1.90 lakh – Rs 2.30 lakh, depending on the variant and the availability of stock.
The Prime variant of the Tata Nexon EV gets a 30.2 kWh battery pack that delivers a driving range of 312 km. Using a fast DC charger, this battery pack can be charged from 10-80% in 60 minutes. This variant produces a maximum power output of 129hp. The Max variant gets a 40.5 kWh battery pack which offers a range of 453km. This battery pack can be juiced from 0-80% in 56 minutes using a DC fast charger. The maximum power output produced by the Max variant is 143hp.

Conclusion
As mentioned earlier, these discounts will expire at the end of the month. The value of the discount package may vary among dealerships and is subject to the availability of stock. Tata Motors crossed the 6 lakh production landmark for the Nexon last month. This includes the ICE and EV units. The Nexon EV directly rivals the Mahindra XUV400 and Citroen eC3.
