Discounts of up to Rs 85,000 on Tata Tiago EV, Curvv EV, and more

Tata Motors is offering discounts of up to Rs 85,000 on four of its all-electric offerings in India – Tiago EV, Curvv EV, Punch EV, and Nexon EV. Tata Tiago EV bags the biggest discount package this month. These discounts are being offered in the form of green bonuses and exchange/scrappage benefits. The Tigor EV has not received any discounts.

Tata Tiago EV

Maximum Discount: Rs 85,000

The XT variant of the MY2024 Tata Tiago EV is available with a discount worth up to Rs 85,000. This variant comes with a 3.3kW home charger. The top-spec XZ+ variant gets Rs 60,000 off. Meanwhile, all MY2025 variants of Tata Tiago EV except XZ+ get offers worth up to Rs 40,000.

The Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor on the Tata Tiago EV delivers a peak power output of 55kW and an instant torque of 114Nm. The electric hatchback can accelerate from 0-60kmph in 5.7 seconds. There are also two driving modes on offer – City mode and Sport mode – with four levels of regen settings in each mode. Prices for the electric hatchback start at Rs 7.99 lakh and go up to Rs 11.14 lakh.

Tata Curvv EV

Maximum Discount: Rs 70,000

Tata’s newest all-electric crossover, Curvv, is available with discounts worth up to Rs 70,000. These discounts are available on the crossover’s MY2024 units only. The Curvv EV is available in 2 battery pack options. The 45kWh variant offers a driving range of 502km and is available with the Creative, Accomplished, and Accomplished+ S trims. Meanwhile, the 55kWh variant has a driving range of 585km and is available with all trims except Creative.

Tata Punch EV

Maximum Discount: Rs 70,000

The MY2024 MR and LR variants of the Punch EV that come with the 7.2kW AC fast charger are available with a Rs 70,000 discount. The variants with the 3.3kW charger get Rs 50,000 off. Meanwhile, the Smart and Smart+ variants that come with the 3.3kW charger get Rs 40,000 off. The MY2025 Punch EV is available with a Rs 40,000 discount across all variants.

Tata Nexon EV

Maximum Discount: Rs 40,000

All variants of the Nexon EV are available with a Rs 40,000 discount. The EV is priced between Rs 14.49 lakh – Rs 19.29 lakh. The MR battery variant of the Nexon EV gets a 30kWh battery pack that offers a driving range of 325km. Meanwhile, the 40.5kWh battery pack on the LR variant can go up to 465km on a full charge. This is an improvement of 12km for both variants compared to their pre-facelift versions. Talking about the power specs, the Nexon EV MR puts out 129hp and 215Nm, while the LR variants produce 145hp and 215Nm.

Conclusion

These discounts will expire at the end of the month. The value of the discount package may vary among dealerships and is subject to the availability of stock.  Tata currently has the most diverse and affordable electric vehicle portfolio out of all the automakers in the country.
