Discounts of up to Rs 3 lakh on Volkswagen Tiguan, Taigun, and Virtus

Volkswagen India is offering significant discounts on three of its bestselling models in India. Buyers can grab discounts worth up to Rs 3 lakh on the Volkswagen Tiguan, Taigun, and Virtus. The Golf GTI is the only offering in Volkswagen’s portfolio that has not received any offers. These discounts will expire at the end of the month.

Volkswagen Tiguan

Maximum Discount: Rs 3 lakh

Volkswagen’s flagship SUV in India, the Tiguan, has received the biggest discount package this month. The Tiguan is available in a lone R Line variant, priced at Rs 48.99 lakh. It has received discounts worth up to Rs 3 lakh. The SUV is powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine. This engine can produce a maximum power output of 204hp and 320Nm of torque.

Volkswagen Taigun

Maximum Discount: Rs 1.55 lakh

The Topline 1L TSI AT and GT 1.5 TSI MT/DSG variants of the Tiguan SUV are available with discounts worth up to Rs 1.55 lakh this month. The GT Line, Highline, and Comfortline variants get Rs 1.10 lakh, Rs 1 lakh, and Rs 80,000 shaved off their asking prices, respectively. A facelift of the Taigun is currently in the works and is expected to launch by the end of the year.

Volkswagen Virtus

Maximum Discount: Rs 1.50 lakh

The Topline 1.0L TSI variants of the Virtus sedan get Rs 1.50 lakh off this month. The Comfortline variants are available with a Rs 1.02 lakh discount. The 1.5L TSI DCT variants get offers in the range of Rs 35,000 – Rs 40,000. The 1.5-litre TSI generates a maximum power output of 150hp and 250Nm of peak torque. This engine can be paired with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DSG. The other option that the automaker offers to its customers is a 1.0-litre TSI engine. This engine produces a maximum power output of 115hp and 178Nm of peak torque. It can be mated to a 6 manual gearbox or a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Final Thoughts

As mentioned earlier, these discounts are only available on the Volkswagen Tiguan, Taigun, and Virtus. The offers will expire on September 30. The value of the discount package may vary among dealerships and is subject to the availability of stock. Enquire about individual discount packages from your local Volkswagen dealership.
